Destination Wedding Resort Tour

Seasons greetings and Welcome to 2012! I hope you all had a great festive season and are feeling rejuvenated and refreshed for the brilliant year ahead of us all.

Congratulations to all of the newly engaged couples, we have seen and heard of a lot of Christmas proposals this passed Christmas, it truly is a magical time of year for your other half to express their love in the shape and form of a proposal (and of course a diamond).

Over the January period Kristy and David (owners or Pose) recently returned back from a business trip to the Mayan Riviera, Mexico. They were able to visit with 9 different All Inclusive resorts, they also had the privilege of meeting with the Wedding coordinators at each resort and of course gather as much information on their Destination Weddings.

These are the resorts they visited during their stay:
*Now Jade - 5 star resort
*Now Sapphire - 5 star resort
*Dreams Riviera - 5 star resort
*Secrets Silversands - 5 star resort
*Blue Bay Grand Esmeralda - 5 star resort
*Marina El Cid - 5 star resort
*Grand Sirenis Riviera - 5 star resort
*Dreams Puerto Aventuras - 4 star resort
*The Royal Playa Carmen - 5 star resort

All of the resorts had a lot of unique features and were all perfect for a Destination wedding groups, depending on what you were looking for of course.
If your group was traveling from Canada to Cancun the prices from the above resorts would range from anywhere from $1100 - $2100 per person (on certain travel dates). This price would include 7 nights accommodation, return flights, all applicable taxes and round trip airport transfers in Cancun to your resort.
When you are looking into the resorts wedding packages you should be aiming to budget your actual wedding day costs around $4000 for a 50 person wedding.
This price would typically include the preparation of the bride/grooms attire, wedding ceremony set up (including white chairs, wedding gazebo, music for walking up the aisle), bridal bouquet, grooms boutonniere, center piece for the head table, 1 hour cocktail party, reception dinner (either at a private location or in a restaurant), approx. 30 photographs included on a cd, bridal hair and make up.
This is just a guideline what the "average - high" Destination wedding package would include and of course you can add pretty much anything you can think of to make your perfect day even more suitable to you two as a couple.
