"I don't have enough time to say all the good things we experienced with Pose Travel organizing our Daughter's Wedding trip to Mexico.
They kept us up to date with everything and were always emailing us with tantalizing tidbits of information about recreational activities or other helpful things. Everything was organized perfectly, even down to the tiniest detail. For example, they had organized for all of us to have colored leis so we could see each other more easily at the big airports, line-ups, etc. The resort was absolutely fantastic (rooms were huge, pools were spectacular, service was A-1, restaurants were absolutely delicious and varied, and the price was great too.) They worked hard at getting us the best deal ever. They were very conscientious, efficient and wonderful to deal with. If you want the best ever group destination-travel experience, Pose Travel is the one to call!

After several frustrations with our previous travel agent in trying to select a resort for our destination wedding, we began working with Pose Travel. Within days, we had booked our resort and all of our frustrations were gone! "My husband and I were honoured to be a part of a Wedding last November in Mexico, that Kristy, of Pose Travel had organized and thought "If we were to get married again, this is the way I would go!" It was amazingly beautiful and so organized ... everything just flowed together and on a glorious day something to remember, indeed. We have just now gone through Pose Travel again for our upcoming trip in January 2012 to Mexico and know everything will be taken care of. It's so great to just call Kristy, explain when, where and what we want and it will all be taken care of...that's what I call "travelling". "My husband and I recently were married in Mexico with a destination wedding of approx. 50 guests. We contacted Pose Travel through a referral we had received from a friend, we were unsure if we were able to use a travel agency that was not located in the same city us as however we found out very soon that this was definitely not the case and this was to be one of the best decisions we have made (apart from being married of course). We worked with Kristy with our group and all of our guests could not stop saying how it was the best experience they have witnessed by a travel agency before. She was extremely organized, friendly and very efficient on getting back to all of us with our annoying 101 questions.
I would have to say it was the most stress free wedding I have ever heard of and we have Kristy to thank for it turning out that way.
The other thing that we were even more impressed about was that Pose Travel are extremely competitive with their prices, they were able to save all of our guests at least $100 per person compared to other prices we were originally quoted and we were shocked to know we didn't have to pay any sort of fee to the company either. "I have been engaged for 3 years now, and I have also never been outside Canada...until our close friend's wedding at Dreams Tulum in the Mayan Riviera, First and foremost I was greeted with a cold towel and glass of champagne while I waited to check in; impeccable service, friendliest staff, and all around great experience! I instantly woke up and walked onto the white sandy beach...and decided this is where I HAVE to get married.
We were referred to POSE travel by our friends whose wedding we had attended in May, I can't even begin to tell you how amazing this agency is! First off I met Kristy Melse; head of operations of POSE travel and I could not be happier! She was nothing but accommodating right away. Every email that I sent her confused and wanted to meet; she met with me the next day. Not only was she helpful in the destination wedding resorts; she also was helpful in organizing my guests and their travel info! I have already referred a couple of friends to this company, not only for large wedding groups but smaller groups as well.

"My fiancé and I started planning our destination wedding shortly after we got engaged. I started researching resorts on my own and found the Now Jade resort in Mexico, when I looked on that site I discovered others who had gotten married at the same resort. Upon contacting Kristy I found out she was the owner of POSE Destination Weddings & Travel. Kristy and I spoke many times to get some ideas and her opinion on locations that would be suitable for our group. It was the best thing I could have done.
Kristy was great to work with! I had a lot of questions from myself and the group. She was always available via phone or email which was very comforting. No matter what the question she was very willing to help. Kristy was very understanding and easy to talk to. She handled everything from setting the group up, payment and making sure we had all the necessary paperwork to be sent down to Mexico. Kristy helped us get the best deals and even helped me plan other trips related to the wedding.
Our wedding was at the Now Jade in the Mayan Rivera, Mexico. We had a total of 20 guests attend our special day. During our stay before the wedding there was nothing to be stressed out or worried about, everything was taken care of. The ceremony was short and simple yet amazing!
Overall our experience was amazing! We could not have done it without Kristy's help. I would definitely recommend her and POSE to help anyone with their destination wedding or group travels."

"Kristy Melse from Pose Destination Weddings is not just a great travel agent, she is also the most knowledgeable and resourceful destination wedding specialist out there. Initially I had contacted several well-known travel agencies when we decided on a beach wedding somewhere in Caribbean. The quotes we received were not satisfactory - I had very specific requirements and budget range, but I felt that all the travel agents I talked to simply wanted us to just go with one of their preferred partner resorts. I started looking on my own. Then by chance I talked to Kristy; her in- depth knowledge regarding the destination wedding industry impressed upon me very much, along with her prompt email replies, immediate telephone calls to my general inquires, and many quotes sent my way. My Husband and I had recently moved from BC to Alberta when we decided a destination wedding was the way we wanted to get married. After attending a destination wedding expo in Calgary, and contacting multiple travel agencies we began to get very frustrated. I tried for 3 weeks with multiple agencies and "destination wedding specialists" to obtain price points for the wedding of my dreams. It took other places so long to answer my emails and phone calls. After being overwhelmed by frustration, Kristy who was given my contact from a friend contacted me. Kristy was so organized! If she didn't have the answer right away she was constantly updating me, letting me know when she would be able to help. When we chose our resort Kristy was so knowledgeable, and was able to give us so many great tips and recommendations. We had a large group to manage (over 70 guests) and Kristy & Sharon did such a great job keeping everyone organized and in the loop. My biggest fear was guests complaining about package prices, but no one was able to beat the price that they found for us. "Our wedding and vacation was absolutely amazing! After having a frustrating experience trying to book our wedding through a local travel agency, we were referred to Pose through friends of ours who had had a fantastic experience with Kristy and Pose. Within only a few days Kristy had found us our resort within our price range and dates! In less than a week Kristy had contacted all of our guests with information about our upcoming wedding with pricing and booking details. Kristy and Sharon handled all of the bookings and guest correspondence from then on. We also had guests that required tricky flight packages from various departures and they were very pleased that Pose was able to make it happen for them. Thank you so much for everything! The Blue Bay was fantastic. Ana our wedding coordinator was amazing! Once we arrived she handled everything for us. I brought down candles, table decorations and runners (plus my mom made the flower arrangements from flowers we got in town at the market) and Ana set all the tables and made everything look prefect. The wedding commissioner dressed very nice and had beautiful words to say which many of our guests commented on. The wedding photographer, Lillo, was contracted out from the resort and he was amazing!!!! Photography was the most important for us and the the thing we were most concerned about when taking a bit of a risk and trusting the resort. I will attach some pics so you can see :). We got our make up done in Playa del Carmen at the Mac store on 5th ave and all the girls were super happy with it. The resort wedding hair stylist was great too! We had our wedding dinner at the Italian restaurant and it was awesome (the other restaurants were just okay).

"My husband and I recently held our wedding at the Gran Bahia Principe in Runaway Bay, Jamaica. It was BEAUTIFUL!
